Best PC Game According To Gamer

It’s hard to say what constitutes the best PC game in this age of innovative and state of the art gaming. This is very much subjective and gamers tend to have different opinions regarding this topic. As there are various gaming genres available in the market today, it is very difficult to say which game is the best.

Old school gamers might cite Return to Castle Wolfenstein as the best PC game of all time. There must be something on that claim because the year the game was released, every hardcore gamer have nothing but praise for it. It is the original first person shooter that contributed to the popularity of FPS games of today. It offered fast and furious action that got lots of gamers addicted to it for years.  

Sid Meier’s Civilization has passed the test of time with the newest Civilization IV making real time strategy gamers stay up late at night trying to outdo their opponents’ actions. The first Civilization game has such a long term game play that most players found themselves playing it for years. With that said, a lot of gamers have this game in their best PC game list. 

These classic games could be considered as the best but there are new games that can give the classics the run for their money. Even with the advent of console gamin, PC gaming is still alive. There is still a lot of PC in homes. The total number of PCs at home would outnumber gaming consoles. There are PC games that would cater to any gamer type. There’s the casual gamer that would play puzzle games in his free time and then there are the hardcore gamers that would spend most of their time immersed in different PC games.  

Because there are different kinds of PC games, it would be hard to pinpoint which among them is the best PC game. A casual gamer might say that a cooking game is the best for him but a hardcore gamer can cite a couple of examples. There are lots of web sites that would produce lists that their staff and readers vote the best for the year. But still the debate would go on.  

Even the best PC games are known to be hard to beat. That’s one of the factors that endear them to the gamers. To beat the game, players resort to searching for PC game cheats. But even with that knowledge, players would still try their best to finish the game without cheating. PC game cheats make the game easier but it doesn’t mean that the game could not be considered best. It just gives the player an opportunity to savor the endgame cut scene hat others are raving about.  

There might be a number of games that can be considered the best. It would depend on who you talk with and what type of game he likes. The best PC game for one might be something as simple as a word game while others might like something more complicated. It’s up to the player to decide which game is best for him.
